A couple with the sniper coil tonight.

Sure is going to take some getting used to swinging a hockey puck. And you don't get to far fast, but it certainly does what it's supposed to do. Sniff out the goodies from the trash. Not pictured were four wheat pennies. All the coins were in the 4 - 6 inch range with good strong signals.

Nice Merc and Can. penny

That is very nice! How did the Merc get all those crosswise scratches on it?

Small coils do not necessarily mean lack of depth, and the sniper can really see through the junk....especially on the AT Pro. Great post!

Not sure, looks like it had a fight with some steel wool and lost. Guess they can't all look good.

 Its so obious. But its a good picture and finds Good puck luck. I think i should spend the money on the small coil, because of the super trashed places I hunt.

Ha! :clapping:
I would have made very effort to keep it out of the ring with that steel wool, had it been me. Coins and scrubby stuff in a fight, rarely goes well for the coin.

B.Ratny, you inspired me to put on the sniper last nigh tand go over an area I had already gleaned with the 8.5x11 . I found a couple of coins the DD missed in a well hunted school yard.

That's exactly what I did, went back over an area I hunted before with the stock coil. I was surprised at how many coins were still there hidden in the trash.
