Monte, I am soon to get my IDX Pro. I have a White's Classic I. Will this coil work on my IDX Pro? The IDX is coming with the 9.5 coil and I know from all my reading that you prefer a smaller coil. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tim
 
[size=medium]unless I am mistaken, If you meant Classic II, those had interchangeable coils.

However, the answer is NO, the coils used on the Classic I and Classic II will not interchange with the Classic III Plus, Classic III SL, Classic ID or the Classic IDX & IDX Pro. All of these latter models share the same coils as the Blue Max series (and other terms) used on the XLT, Quantum's, XL Pro, etc.

Thanks, Monte. I knew I could get a straight answer from you. I hunted a little while with the Classic I yesterday. Man Thant thing will wear you out! You have to dig EVERY signal. I think I'm going to pass it off to my kids.hahaha They have more energy! Thanks again, Tim
