Alternating showers and downpours can't slow the Pro.
The last target was a great surprise. I love things directly connected to history. I posted up a pic of an undug example so it would be easier to know all the detail my token once had.

Just a quick two hours and by then my waterproofing on my NATO surplus field jacket was giving out.

Nice token. Are there places out there that could "restore" it or similar items?

There are varieties in copper and brass. Unfortunately my find appears to be copper and has been exposed to fertilizer. Even professional conservations can do little for this example and its not a rare or valuable token. It's a "Hard Times" variety and among my favorite things to dig. I used some "Verdi-Care" on it after a mild cleaning. I have two fellow club members who each found a Higley Copper worth approx $5,000 each. One guy said PCGS appears to have attempted a cleaning when he submitted it for authentication. he was not pleased with the results. Nothing much can restore these but the appearance can be mildly improved. Coppers not exposed to fertilizer respond well to cleaning due to planchet decay.
