A couple of odd Tuesday finds

Here are a couple of odd finds me and my son found yesterday. I found the Chinese coin with my Outlaw. I'm pretty sure it's fake. My son found the mini Bicentennial quarter. I'm not sure if he found it with his Compadre or his dinging yeller thang ( I tease him about his Garrett Ace 150). The dime is there just for a size reference. We were hunting a large recreation field where the town recently held their Oktoberfest fair.

I know that the dollar was shrinking because of inflation but now it's carried over to coins. The economy sucks, what's next? well there you have it, miniature quarters.
Cool finds, none the less. Glad you are including your son in the hobby, it is a treasure he will remember the rest of his life, good job.

I heard of a kid with his compadre found 150 clade quarters on the bank of the missisippi river up hear . but they where clad it could also happen to you interesting fands

It sounds like y'all had a great time. That mini quarter is worth a lot more than a regular quarter is worth.

That Chinese coin could be the real deal. I've found some old coins that kids have lost when they took them to school for show and tell.
