A couple of nice days to detect

Friday and Saturday here were really nice days, in the upper 60's, unreal for January! Friday after work I grabbed the etrac and headed down to the local fairgrounds just to swing the detector for an hour, not expecting much out of it, but just to get out. I had some good luck, finding a well worn 1910 barber and a 1900 V nickel, not bad for a hunted out area.
Saturday after shopping with my wife I hunted at another fairground. It was a nice day with nice weather. I was able to find a small silver ring, that came in at 13/42, I figured it was a clad penny, another reason to dig pennies.

Very cool! I love to find the V Nickels, especially ones that you can see the details, like that one. Barbers are always a thrill too. Thanks for sharing your hunts and photos

Great finds during some great weather! I made use of the great day myself. Sure was nice to get a comfortable hunt in the middle of January wasn't it!
