You are right it is better in the cool, the heat here the last few weeks has everything brown and crisp. There are a couple of fires in the area now, there were a few lightning strikes today and that isn't good. They say it should rain over the next couple of days, we sure hope so. The only problem is that at the higher elevations like where the pictures were taken will have snow when it is cool down here. The day Nathan took these pictures he also had a snowball fight up there while we were almost passing out with the heat.

to the top of Mt. Scia, I think it was called, and we started hitting snowcovered roads, and wound up on the top having a snowball fight and building a "snowperson". Definitely one of my most favorite memories!

We always think of Canada as being cold, so when we heard what hot weather you all were having, it was odd. It has rained so much here that my rose garden is a mess. I have to keep spraying fighting all the diseases that wet weather bring. For the past couple of days, it's been very hot and humid, and will zap your strength quickly! Still, it has not been as hot here as last.

You guys take care, and maybe we will talk soon Give Lynne my love and tell I said to keep you in line!
