A couple of kilo's of coins gets the goal!

Hi All. Happy new year.
Finished off the year with a last minute stretch. Just got back from Sydney after completing one last week at closing in on my designated goal of $500 with the Ace. Had to find $194 in the week and finished with $196. The volume of coins weigh about 2.5kg (a bit over 5 pounds).
Also managed to snag my second Middle East coin yesterday. It is from the United Arab Emirates and has a design of a fancy tea pot on it. Also scored a penny an a couple of rings.
Since buying the Ace in mid September, my total stands at $501.95
Anyway I hope you all enjoy yourselves in the new year and look forward to reading all your posts.

P.S. I'll post some pictures when the family gets back in a couple of weeks (they have all the digital cameras).

Great finds Mick . 4 months play and getting over $500.00 sounds like a great success story in my neck of the woods......

A couple of months ago I was feeling sorry for you. You were saying you didn't have any places to hunt. You really came out of a slump.
In 3 and a half months you got $500.

I'm setting the goal for you this year, $1,600. Only kidding. I am happy for you. You have a great year of MDing AND KEEP IT FUN.

Thanks all.
Yeah. The normal spots are still pretty baron John. I just had to start looking at ways of getting onto productive ground. It's going to be tough to better what I've done in this neck of the woods, so I'm just going to have to go out and find ways of selling my way onto more productive sites. They're all on enclosed lands. guess that's just another skill that needs to be developed to improve the hobby.
All the best for the new year.
