ATPro finds from this week.
Sterling medal that looks to be enameled. I get many religious medals but l don't recall another with the coloring or enamel on sterling.

Slim pickings for the time I had to detect.
Here's an Indian that was buried very deep in dry sand on a saltwater beach. I wasn't getting anything in the water with my Excal and my waders must have a tiny leak around knee high on my right leg. so I stripped off the gear and took my ATP from my step son who was using it for the first time. He had a silver dime, Indian nickel and a wheat for his effort. He got out his ACE 250 and he told me where his coins came from near one beach house. Ta-Da! First hit was this deep 51-52 signal at 8" or more. My stepson is a good natured 32 year old, thickly muscled corrections officer...so it wasn't like I was snatching my ATP from a kid. He already knew if I came out of the salt water that I was going to the PRO. I've been on him to try my ATP and he liked it, had success the first time with it and he was pleased.

Nothing spectacular for finds but I usually find something to peak my curiosity. If the Indian could talk I would like to know how close 1936 he became a beach bum.

Nice finds and good hunting. That Religious medal looks like it has some age to it. Sounds like a fun day. HH jim tn

Nice hunt, Bruce! That's a neat religious medallion- 4-saints-in-1! :clapping:
I think Buffs and Mercs are my favorite coins, design-wise.
