a couple of hunts with the olddigger!

GRAY GHOST

hey everybody. i've been mia for awhile, returning from the road working. olddigger and i squeezed in a couple of hunts together. i came up with some shot lead yesterday in a short line about 30 yards long, after fruitlessly searching two fiteen acre fields. it used to be a swampy area, so all of the bullets had coccoons around them. i'm not sure what the propeller looking thing is, it has two attachment points on the back. it's a good variety of shot lead. the smallest flat button - the cuff size - has an unlisted backmark of lord & lees. ever heard of that one? it's not in any of my button books.

brass is getting scarce: time to find some new spots. although these two hunts didn't set the world on fire, after 45 days on the road, i was just happy to get out and swing the machine for a while. thanks for looking, and hh!
