A couple of firsts with the 70

Was in a silver slump until a few weeks ago, when I really started using the 70 and learning its language.
Until then, the only silver coins I had found before I got the 70 were a few silver dimes.
Well, I found this '45 war nickel (my first), it was less than 2'' deep (my pinpointer hit on it from the surface)

Even better, earlier this week I hunted a small country park. I thought the park was relatively new. The big trees with the clearing made me think there could have been a house there at some point. Pulled up a few wheaties across a couple days. Then finally got this:

My first silver quarter.
The wheaties I found were from the 'teens and '20s. If I play my cards right, I might pull an IH outta there!
Love the 70!

The CZ-70 is a killer machine and if you have a good spot to swing it in, it WILL deliver. Always go slow, keep the coil close to the ground, and overlap your swings. Take your time and it will pay off. It's a deep silver magnet.

but that quarter isn't '1942 bc, so not quite in your league!

Looking at your IP on your post, are you from Michigan?
If so, I know in my county, the county parks were built in the 40's. A couple have produced some nice older coins, with one of those being a freaking "Wheatfield" producing over 120 Wheat's, several silver dimes, a couple War Nickels, and one lone IH Penny. I believe IH's circulated until the '40's, so if your park is that old, there is a possibility, especially if there was an older house on it.
HH from Allen in MI

I'm actually in north Alabama.
And ditto on the IH part. With the old wheaties I've found, I'm thinking there's an "injun" in there somewhere.
And more silver!
