a couple keepers from the beanfield

went to another beanfield this weekend, did not find a lot of good stuff, got a couple keepers.

1917 wheat, 1896 IH cent, interesting whatisit thing, and a cool valve that says Powell and has a star on one side, the other side says Pat 1903

any idea on that one??

I do now know what they are? But I found my first IH in about 1976 with a Compass Judge I Automatic TR unit and I live in Canada about 550 miles(900 kms) north of the US border!
