Never fails finally get a decent date indian head in good shape and there's a big blob of crap right on the face. Oh well maybe next time.

Very Sweet. How deep were they? Did you try Amonia on that 1876? Use a q-tip and just keep swabbing. Even if you can't get the crud off it's a coin that should go for a decent price.

Hi Bob
They were both down in the 6 to 8 inch range not super deep but thats ok it gets tiring digging so deep all the time. I broke my silver slump today with a 1911 barber dime. I stopped at WP on my way home from work for an hour.

Was out with the wife down by the Ohio River - scored one but gave it to the property owner. She had not seen one before today.

Second picture is looking over my shoulder where I found the barber dime.

Nate found more of a printer's block at my mom's today. Seems like two peices from the same story. Something about cotton.

Very nice. Your barber dime looks like it's in great shape it's older plus you have a mint mark, cool. That looks like a great spot to hunt. Good luck.
