saw where a burnt out house was removed, there was fence around the front and sides but not the back :detecting: , also there were NOT any no trespassing signs, so to me it was fair game  , I was using the 8 inch coil and will run back tomarrow with the S-5 . There is a ton of junk and nails as I expected there would be (no suprise there), The lot is smooth and all big debris is gone, just a flat surface with all the burnt stuff hidden underneath, looks like they bulldozed it toward the back before they hauled out all the burnt wood and what-not ....got several coins a few buckles nothing too spectacular with the exception of one old old old nickel looks to be a shield nickel but I really cant say for sure that its not a V nickel. you can be the judge, the dirt is heavly caked and all normal methods to clean the dirt off have failed. A few wheats in there as well .......

Update:: It was in fact a V nickel

remember to always be thinking SILVER and GOLD :please:
