A couple firsts for me today....

One was (and the best one) getting my dad to go hunting with me! He's stuck at home 90% of the time taking care of his wife. She has grown kids of her own, but they do little to nothing to help in allowing dad any free time to enjoy himself. I've tried to get him to talk with them about it, even threatened to do it myself, but it hasn't happened yet. Today her daughters took her out to lunch, so I asked dad to tell them he wanted a few hours of time to go with me. Thankfully he did. The only thing that upset me was he didn't find anything. I seriously considered planting something, but knew if he found-out he'd have felt worse than not finding anything. When I dropped him off at home, he thanked me for going, and said he didn't mind getting skunked, he just enjoyed getting out.

I hunted with the 350 today. 1st signal I had right off the bat was a token, I thought it was a large cent.

It's a Royal Brand Suit token, and says "Presented to a good boy wearing a Royal Brand Suit". Front says Excellence Award Merit-Superiority
(It's 1" diameter)

Next was an 1864 2-Cent piece. This is the 1st 2-Center I've ever found. I can't determine if it's large or small motto, but a small motto ranges fro $55 to $10,000 (of course for perfect condition).

Next was a Sterling thimble. Inside is has a Star with a Bell inside it, and the number 9 under the star.

Scovills button, says "Best Double Gilt" Mint Edge (and it's 5/8" diameter). The face of the button is plain/smooth.
