As is the usual case, a body of water that has been hunted to death with a VLF metal detector, and has lost nearly all signals including junk targets, comes back to life when you go over the same body of water with a pulse induction detector. That's been my experience, and I have been using that to my advantage for many years. Below is a short video clip of today's hunt:

I've been practicing with my new Infinium on a party sand bar that I've gone over with the Pro numerous times and what I'm finding is not deep LOL. Lots of hairpins that the Pro ignores, small pieces of wire, bottle caps, pull tabs that I ignore with the Pro. I'm patiently waiting to hit that deep ring that the VLF's haven't found but haven't found it yet.
 
Keep searching....there is a lot of masking going on with those targets your Pro misses. Also, micro jeweler can also show up.
 
Nice finds, John. Glad you are still able to hunt. It won't be long before you start freezing up I suppose?
