New Deus user here. I have had a wonderful time learning this new machine and I also been having tremendous luck with it! It's all in the tones! A slight whisper almost like mosquito buzzing in my ear turned out to be a 1786 half reale. The oldest coin to date for me and its been 22 years. WOOT! I have a CTX3030 and I am trading it to Richard (AMAZING dude!) at Backwoods to get another Deus for my wife. She has NEVER offered to try MD'ing until she picked up the Deus. I am running with this. She is my best friend and how could I ask for a better hunting buddy!?! I love my CTX and I wanted to use the %$#@ out of it, but I just could not take the wired wrist pain it gave within 5 minutes. I am almost 50, and yesterday I swung for 8 hours!! I never did that even in my late 20's. The Deus is pure joy to swing and I love easy it is to work with. NO clutter, no wires and the headphones (WS5) caused me not discomfort during the time I was out. I will miss my CTX and tried to love my CTX. I swear I tried, but the Deus is my final destination. I will miss target trace above all. Tomorrow morning I am getting up bright and early as we are currently at the beach. I am going to take my Deus and 9.5HF coil and find some fun. Thanks for reading and Happy Easter! I don't deserve his mercy.
