a compadre for the beach?

g'day all.

can i use my tesoro compadre;
for the beach?
wet sand?
can just the coil go a little under water ?

Assuming salt water beach. (If fresh water, should work but don't dunk the box).

Should work fine in dry sand areas as long as the sand is not real mineralized (black, pink or purple sand). You can get the coil wet, but don
