This place is pretty boring. Not just because of the lack of visitors either. No one critiques the photos or offers any suggestions for improvement. I haven't seen many pictures in here that didn't have lots of room for improvement, including all the crap I post. I know it's because no one wants to hurt anyone's feelings but if done with the right spirit some constructive criticism would make us all better photographers. So what do you all think? Should we help each other out or just keep posting "Nice picture"?
 
I come here hoping to learn something. Funky posted some Photoshop hints and Dave showed us how to get the floating effect and they are my favorite posts. If a great picture is posted and nothing is told about how to get it, I might as well be going to photosig.
If my pictures suck I would like to know why and how to correct it, if I agree with the assessmant.
Someone goes to the effort to post something and 20 people look at it with no comment and they might as well be saying the picture sucked.
I don't know if anyone is even running this site any more
