A cheap way to bluetooth your detector

les

New member
A cheap way to bluetooth your detector is to buy the Motorola headset HT820 with a bluetooth audio dongle if the dongle has a passkey 0000 it will work with the HT820 headphones and this is the good part if you pair it up with your phone ,if you get a phone call it will cut out your detector so you can take the phone call.
All from Ebay headphones HT820

I know this post is a year old, but would like to know if this setup worked?
Thanks
Larry

Sounds like it would work...plenty of them on ebay...my question is would it cause interference to your detector???

As an update to this post that was a year ago. Les and I have come to the conclusion that at the moment Bluetooth has too much of a delay with the sounds which is no good when you are trying to pinpoint a target in the ground.
We have now sourced a proper wireless set up that works quite nicely which I have posted about on a thread above this one.
