A call for some videos. Please!

Hey guys,
Does anyone have a Deleon or Cortes or Golden Umax that they can do a video on? There is simply not much info out there on these on youtube. I'd like to see a full review so we can hear/see how they do.

Thanks guys. I'm addicted to detector reviews lol

Great request , but lets take it even further. So many videos showing a hole and a coin, then, another hole and another coin. There are some where you don't even see the detector being used! Many of us have more than one detector, so maybe we could do some side by sides, or demonstrate a technique with your detector that improved your finds, etc. These Tesoros are great metal detectors - lets show 'em what they can do!

Mike,

I wish Tesoro would supply you with all there detectors, so you could make the video's for you tube:thumbup: As payment you could keep all the detectors :thumbup:I think your video's on you tube is the best for the Vaquero:thumbup:

I hope Tesoro is readiing this post !

Hi Craig
Thanks for the kind words. I'm surprised for as good as Tesoros are, the company doesn't do a better job showing them off. I've always used Whites or Fisher so when I bought my "V" it really took me by surprise how good it was. I'm actually selling my Etrac and looking to buy more Tesoros. I think their really all you need. Thanks again for your feedback Craig.

Mike,

Would you just said is most likely mind blowing for some minlab users! But what a testament to Tesoro. I too am selling my garrett and my teknetics to enjoy Tesoro's products..we should get free t-shirts or hats..lol

I found out about them in my former TH'ing club about 15 years ago. If I hadn't have seen a member using one and then a great dealer (former), I would have probably been a late user. Even more amazing, I understand, is that the Golden is the least sold Tesoro.

:cheers:Tesoro rocks!

I've tried a bunch of different detectors, but Tesoro is still top dog so for.

I sure wish someone would do a demo video for the Golden uMax showing the differences between the old tone version and the new tone version.

I bet 53Silver has sold a bunch of Vaquero detectors with his fantastic video.

Tabman I wish Tesoro threw a couple bucks my way! My "V" is still amazing me. I went out for an hour tonight and found two dimes, 10 inches apart, at 8 inches down! And what really got me was I was able to get a signal at full disc! As you might expect, it wasn't as strong as a dime at 5 - 6 inches but man I was blown away! If the Golden performs even nearly as well as the Vaquero, it's a md I'd love to own!

Hey buddy, T-shirts and hats are good, but lets hold out for cash! :)

Just to let you know, I sold my DFX, Because I was tired of wondering if I had it set up right. Got the Tejon, first. Enjoyed it so much, I sold my XL Pro and got a Vaquero. Haven't looked back and thought I'd made a mistake. Now I enjoy detecting again !!!!!

I love my Vaquero! My wife won't let me take it to bed. Hmmm......come to think of it, the "V" doesn't talk back to me unless it's going to find me something. Hmmmm......wife....Vaquero....more thought is required. :look:

ok if you all insist ill try to get a video on the old golden umax up & running by the end of the week :detecting:
& i wont be hunting with headphones so you can hear the tones lol
ill get back to you

I agree with Craig. If Tesoro would pay Mike to review, and show the features of all their detectors and then post the videos on their site it would do a lot to sway people in buying their product. I'm still surprised in how many people I meet that are detecting that either haven't heard of Tesoro or dismiss them as nothing but toys or beginner models. That's a shame, and it's their loss but it's also Tesoro's loss. Mike's passion for the hobby and his knowledge in using the detectors is obvious and it's infectious as well. He helped me in my decision in buying my Vaquero.

Thanks guys - I just sold my Etrac to a fellow in FL. When he asked why I'm selling it I told him I started using a Tesoro Vaquero and can't put it down. His response - "really?"
Etrac is an excellent md, top of the line for sure, but for ease of use and equal in finds (if not more) I'll take a Tesoro. Looking forward to getting a Compadre and Silver.

The V won't wear your shoulder and arm out either like the etrac does.

Someone send me a Vaquero to use and I will make a bunch of videos for you.......;o) I am thinking about getting the Vaquero to try in heavy iron in some sites I have around here.
