A Bummer hunt with the BHID........Ring killer scoop!

Found this ring with my BHID on Sun. I don't know if my monster scoop killed it or if the stone was already missing. Prob would have been a + 1/2 k does have two side stones look like 1/4k. Found a pile of trash and alot of coins, even found a 1969 bahama nickle! This is one of the spots I've been to several times and can still pull more targets out everytime! Two of the rings I've found have been in one spot that's iron infested, I'll have to crawl over that spot a few more times cause I bet there's more goodies hiding. I'll also have to break down and get a better camera.

Boy O Boy, your doing great James, Bummer about the ring , but a Great find. Pulling them deep targets WTG. Keep it up , Good Hunting.

Yep! All with the lil' old 9.5 coil. I'd hate to think of the holes I'd make with the 12! :goodnight:I dug a stainless spoon(not really a "good" target) that had to be 18 or more deep. My shoulder is killing me by the end of a 6 hr. hunt. I also added a loop support to the coil, works like a champ. I haven't had time to see if it will outpreform my Stingray 2 yet in freshwater.

Heading to the Treasure coast next month, taking The BHID 9 1/2", as my main detector backups excal1000, & explorer. II , With the program for the BH the other detectors can't touch it, even with larger coils. Some of the club members still can't beleive the extra depth. they get. But the sad:cry: thing for me now is I just can't get out, to many different family things going on, but thats ok, going to Fl. is just around the corner,:clapping:

If I lived over there I'd wear the bottom off my coil !!!!!!! (then I would need epoxy on it!!,lol <-- I'm playin') Too funny - - - "I'm taking the Excal 1000 as a backup" big lol. Have a boatload of fun and post lot's o pix!!!

How to find missing stone. Bring a bag or small bucket and take home a few scoops of dirt. Run this through a gold pan.
If the stone were there they will be in the rubble. Sometimes you win sometimes you don't.

Now all ya need is a Diamond Detector...lol...too bad about the ring...
