A bullet (easy on the Lesche!) and a silver 'bar'?

Got these yesterday from a local park. Like many of you, once in awhile, I'll find live bullets and wonder what everyone does with them if you don't have a gun with the same caliber? Throw them in a trash can or....? The other find is a small 1 1/2" silver bar and it reminds me of the bar on a silver pocket watch chain that slips through a button hole and keeps the watch from falling on the ground. It has a little broken stem that might have been the end of the chain? Happy weekend and happy hunting all!
BTW........I don't think you could fire a live round with a Lesche unless you hit the point end with a hammer on the end of the round! lol!!

IMHO The live round is a fairly popular caliber you may find someone who would take it for practice. After it was wiped clean it should chamber and Fire OK. Or, You could drop it off with local law enforcement for disposal.

Too igly to run through for me. If pull the head and dump the powder. Then, if you want, hit it with a hammer to discharge the primer, with safety glasses and leathrr gloves of course. When I was a kid, i would occasionally smash blanks with a hammer, until I got a brass shard in my figure. Of course no gloves or glasses as a small intelligent boy! Yeah, right. Guess thats called learning.
