Nice you could get out Terri.

It was a great day here also.

That seems like a nice place

to hunt.

I'll bet that it workes into a

real producer.

Thanks for sharing,

Tabdog

hi echostar, i see you been busy! there might not be a lot there, but you've got some really old buckles there! the old roller buckles were popular from the 1840's and up...no tellin' how old it is. i have the same smaller buckle that you do too. i think it's a watch buckle?! how cool is that?! i dunno for sure, but hey, i'm glad to see you getting out more and making some good finds.

haha, them ol' shotgun shells... they sound soooooo good, so you know we gotta dig 'em! we call 'em 12th georgias down here. some are really rare and sought after, believe it or not! great hunt, and hh!

Hey Terri, Glad you got out and what's with that great weather? Send some out here for me on Saturday, PLEASE????? Love the small buckle. The site looks nice and promising! And let's not go there about those pesky shot gun shells. I hate those things. Seems up here we have to fire more times to make up for our lack of aim:rofl: I have about 1800 of those things now. Waiting for them to become collectible so I can retire. HH

Makes me wonder how anyone kept their pants up in the old days.

Thanks Coinnut . I hope you get the weather we are having now for your Saturday,
and not what we are expecting then ....high maybe 40 and snow :yikes:

Terri

Thanks Ghost , That was waht I was thinking about the little buckle , from a
watch band , Cool , you found one like it . Yeah, those shotgun brass sound way
good. Here is another thing that gets me everytime , I find at least one at every homesite,
took me forever it figure out what they were , have to fold em just right then they become
clear to you, pour spout for salt

Aint it funny , I cant tell you how many of these flat little angel wing looking
things I have . Then one day I folded it at its creases and knew . Some sites
are just littered with them, and those old zinc canning lids . Every time I dig
one of those my mind races and cant help but think, Maybe , just maybe the
jar is under there too filled with old coins , Well, could be :lmfao:

Terri

Hey Terri it could happen. True story the owner of the local detector shop found 3 jars full of old coins. Now this was years ago, I have seen the Newspaper article written about it. The "face" value of the coins was $1200.00!! No telling what the "collectors" value was. He sold some and kept some. But what an amazing thing to find, Beale.

Hi Terri. That looks like a great place to spend some quality time at:wiggle: I'm glad you had such a beautiful day. It was nice here Tuesday & Wednesday...but the rain has moved in today:thumbdown: Nice batch of relics you got there...and I know you'll pull many more nice items out of that place.
