A bit unusual.....

I would normally not have posted today's find except that the one on the left was found a year ago and the one on the right (bronze) was found today, at the same beach, but about 100' away. Both are from Peru.

I am in the SE corner of the Bermuda Triangle....maybe that has something to do with it!

That's pretty interesting Steve...

Reminds me of this story I read last year:

MAN FINDS OWN LOST WEDDING RING IN LONG ISLAND SOUND
July 25, 2005

Stewart Petrie, age 82, made an incredible discovery while clamming in Long Island Sound recently

Really! My imagination flies trying to figure out why stuff happens like that. I try to put myself in their position and would they be thinking "Well, I lost one and the other one isn't going to do me any good so I'll just toss that one in the water too!"

I can't figure any othe reason for it. How many people (I am being politically correct here) would lose more than one earring in the water?

I can understand on the beach, if they took them off before they went in the water then lost them in the sand, but 2 lost at the same time? Doesn't make any sense to me. The odds are way high on that.

Thats a cool story. It reminds me of when I was hunting the flat wet sanded in beach and pulled up two silver wedding bands one right after the other within 20 feet and 6" down. Must have been on a blanket or something.
