Had a signal about two weeks ago coming up as a copper penny. It was iffy showing about 8 inches and could only get it at certain angles. I pinpoint and i am getting green dominant 2.5khz(not by much). i switch to the analyze screen and i am getting a green dominant hump. I cut the plug and dig down 5 inches only to find a 3 inch long rusted iron wire. I shook my head and thought, "She can't lie to me, it's just not possible. It should be a conductive target". I dig another two inches and get a hit on my pin-pointer. I dig another inch and pull out a 1 inch piece of green copper wire that was right underneath the rusted 3 inch piece. It could of easily been a coin.
My recovery delay was 45 and if it was much higher, i would of missed the conductive target. I figured that this would be a speed for this site. So, make sure you tinker with the recovery delay for each site as one speed is not for all sites.
