A bit of Sunday afternoon silver. :garrett:

Hooked up with Chris this afternoon for a couple hour hunt and was able to snag 2 silver dimes from along a curb. They were within just a few feet of each other. The Rosie is a 58d and the Merc a 41. Also got 2 50's wheat cents and the oblong piece has the Statue of Liberty, and the words and date 1931. The token came from the same spot, but dug it yesterday along with a couple of wheats. It has Memphis Railroad Street Co on it, which, was in existence from 1895 to the early 40's when buses started to be used rather then rail and trolly. Hope all had a great weekend. ATP with 11" coil running Pro Zero, 0 disc, iron off and sen maxed. HH jim tn

If you did some research , you could have been looking at a old bus stop site. They're all over older sections of towns and just about all hold a few older coins.

This spot is quite a bit bigger then a bus stop and has yielded something more then a few older coins. And, it was originally found via research. Because of what the site was, though, there probably was a rail or trolly stop very nearby. HH jim tn
