A BIG word of thanks to FISHER LABS!

I just wanted to give my sincere thanks to Felix and Daniel at FISHER who took the time to get my new 3D fixed. That machine is a depth demon! You can only put the sensitivity up to barely 4 and its air-testing a dime at 11". I finally got out with it now since it warmed up and the ground is thawed and I'm finding deep stuff all over the place! What a machine!
Thanks again Fisher!

Despite all the bashing of the new(FISHER) heck they have high caliber tech's and said from day one can tune up up a CZ just as well as the old(Fisher)
A tip of the hat to the new(FISHER) and if my CZ5 ever has a problem it will go to the new(FISHER).....

This way they have parts for the older CZ's as well as techs who can service them. Hopefully they continue to service the CZ's for awhile. They do take a licking and keep on ticking. Me like a dummy, had my CZ6a mounted on the shaft but the cable was not attached. I turned the assembly upside down to wrap the coil wire, and since the unit is pretty old, it fits pretty loosely on the mount. Well, the 6a it slipped off and fell about 3 feet onto the basement floor. A little piece of the plastic broke off the face of the unit, but the thing works just as well as before.

The funny thing was, I yelled "NO !" when it fell, and thought to myself, there goes one of my 6a's. I attached the coil cable, and turned it on...NOTHING ! I was mad as hell for being so stupid, and then I hoped I had put the batteries in wrong. Sure enough, they were in wrong, and when I switched them, I was a happy camper.

Can't beat the toughness of those older CZ's. I would like the 3D repackaged in the 6a control box. No speaker and water resistant.

I'd just like to add my thanks to Felix and the tech. crew. My CZ-21 is working very well, my 1280x is being used in fresh water by one of my sons and I think I have a suitable place to score some good finds with my old 1265x.

Hi Aaron,
Congrats on the fix. I know mine doesn't air test nearly this well, but I find lots of stuff. Makes me think though after this season I may call Felix and see about trying to get it up to that kind of air test.
