The CTX 3030 is my first Minelab and programmable detector. Being as this detector has a pretty steep learning curve with little printed information it is difficult for some of us to understand. This forum is a great asset for all of us needing assistance learning about all kind of detectors, not only the CTX. thank you to all of you that share your knowledge.
I would like to give a special thanks to EVAN (Gone Hunting For History). Evan has given of his time on several occasions to help me and numerous other detectorists try and understand the Minelabs as well as other detectors. He has spent several hours on the phone with me explaining features, helping me program my CTX and teaching me the ways of this complicated machine. In addition to all of this, he has authored several very good videos and is always willing to help. If it was not for his assistance I would be lost with this machine.
I'm sure there are others that have benefited from this man sharing his knowledge and joy of the hobby. Thank you Evan from all of us for your dedication in helping others enjoy this wonderful experience of metal detecting.
