A better day! Silver.. wheatie spill and a shell coin

Well today I followed some advice...someone mentioned to me...go somewhere new...I decided to hit a tot lot with a very old church and a football field rolled into one in a upper part class suburb.... Well the tot lot hunt started out a little different ...a first for me... first 2 hits were nickels... then the rest was a mix of clad and some jewelry...a junk earring (sunglasses on earring), a silver heart shaped pendant(stamped 925 on back silver with cz cubic ziconia stones, and a junk ring... The best part happened when I wondered out of the tot lot and down the side...which possibly could be private property....between the church and the football field...I had to hit it! Perfectly manicured lawn but being part of church property or public park??? I did not guess...just hunted...pulled most of the quarters and some of the dimes...Then I went by a bench and bam! A very large reaction came up like a quarter but reminded of that loud sound you get when you dig up a piece of fence...there it was the Shell's president game coin! I knew it was old..and seem to remember as a kid... then a foot to the left bam! Another strong signal...almost the exact depth 4.5 down...the reading slightly lower...around 79... I am thinking another Shell coin...and there were two wheaties stuck together and a third under the two! A 3 wheatie coin spill...a 21, 45-d and a 49-d. 68 coins...guess just not as many people around as was mentioned...but this old church has to be a gold mine!

A nice bunch of coins Greg................And the other goodies just make it more fun... Are you going back ???

Good going Greg. I can see you spending months tumbling all those coins this winter. Great work... Jer
