A bent spoon, a steering wheel and a golden goose......

Ha.....starting to sound like Leslie aren't I? I went detecting yesterday for 5 hours and though I didn't even make a $1.00 an hour....so glad it's a hobby and not for making a living as I would starve to death :D .....I still enjoyed a cooler weather day with a nice breeze blowing with partly sunny and them partly cloudy. I found (6) quarters (15) dimes and one cut up like a round saw blade, (16) nickels and (20) pennies and various items plus one (silver?) butterly charm with an amethyst stone in middle and one handmade ring from a foreign coin or medallion and one cheapie ring or something off a band instrument. The golden goose is on top of a lip balm bottle, I think!

Well, tired and sore today from overdoing but that's the way I am as I don't get out very often and when I do.....watch out world as I walk, dig, walk, dig and walk and dig some more!!! :D

Also dug lots and lots of eraser ends off pencils, aluminum can scraps, all kinds of foil and wads of aluminum foil, pull tabs and etc, etc. etc......even some iron stuff!

God Bless!
Betty

Good haul today Betty. Glad you got out for a nice long hunt - those leaves & such camn wait :) Your ring is a Lord of the Rings model , from the movie & book. The writing is gibberish I believe. I have a few and they sure look neat. Some of them are of silver so better be sure to check. Steve in so az

When people ask me what I've found (at the beach, people seem to assume that every scoop brings-up gold--don't we beach-hunters wish!), I tell them, "A few coins and alot of junk." and that, it's only a hobby, as I'd certainly have starved to death if it was to make a living.
Glad you had a nice day of digging!

which is the truth most of the time....but if I find lots of coins are something nice I don't tell them, as you don't know who they are or what they would do!

May God bless you with gold, silver, diamonds and etc. ...for they are probably in the sand but just have to go over the spot if not too deep to find!
