A beautiful day to hunt

Larry and I went to a friends yard and played a bit in the dirt. We weren't out too long, but still had a good time. I came home with 5 wheat cents, 29, 29D, 40, 41, and 52 and then the 43 Mercury dime. I did have a small old play ring, but somehow I lost it. I might have thrown it away in Larry's trash bucket. It's so small and I'm not going to dig through it all. The little piece that says "fire chief" is a part of a tootsie toy. It states it on the back of it. I sure wish it would have been the whole toy. Boy, that would be a cool find. Hope others got out too.

I know Larry would have liked to stay out detecting longer, but I needed to get home and get things ready for a cookout tonight. Hot wings and all the fixin's. Come on over, we'll have plenty! Thanks for looking.

I just love those Mercury dimes. Nice finds Nancy. I would like to get out for a hunt but the rain and cold weather just will not cooperate. HH Dennis in Idaho

Thanks Rob. Larry found 3 wheat cents and for the crawdad boil, it's been changed to hot wings! We desided not to go up north and stay put here and have some friends over. Sounded like a good plan to me!
