Was headed to one site but came across some minor construction. Nabbed a wheat, a "V" and an old soda bottle there. Went on to original planned pounded site and ended up getting 3 more wheats and a merc. Good hunt on a beautiful day.

Nice finds Mike, me son, and I like the soda bottle with the nice shape! Looks like maybe an old orange soda bottle of the 40's or early 50's? Congrats! Ma

It has "SQUEEZE" on the outside, and the bottom has Whistle bottling Co Peru ILL. They started making soda in 1923

Nice finds Mike. I haven't been detecting much this season yet but hope to get out more. Each morning I volunteer to help our local business association by picking up trash on the street and around the business parking lots, etc. I find several pennies, dimes, and other things nearly every day. None of the coins are old but they add up.

Congrats on the ability to get out and clean up around the parking lots and finding the coins although newer ones....they do add up....and maybe you will find some nice goodies while out getting exercise! The Lord is good and He is with you! God Bless! Ma
