A bat, a skull, a ring.

Wanted to go to a river nearby to hunt a swimming hole, but with all the rain we had yesterday decided not to. So, it was a Sunday morning hunt at the beach with my elder son (Ken). Both of us were using Ace 150's.
The competition today was to find the most yen from an area that is really FULL of trash. Usually we don't go there for that very reason e.g. nails everywhere and decades of broken pull tabs and bottle caps in and on the sand.

Ken:
266 yen in coins (about US$2.30)
Silver pendant.
Junk ring
Bat and skull pendant. :)

My result below the black line.
873 yen in coins (about US$7.50)
Silver ring.

Not much between us in the coin totals, I was just lucky to dig a 500 yen one. ;)

Second photo is of a car that was in front of us. Like the bottle opener on the left :drinking: and the tap on the right. :)

Great weather. As always, great fun. :)
