Went with a friend yesterday to a pounded site I have been to many times. Right away got a wheat, not long after that dug the sterling silver ring. Next was a deep but good target. 8" down out pops a Barber dime. Re check the hole and another target. I removed more dirt to find a wheatie, I ran the pinpointer through the loose dirt to reveal yet another coin. What!! another Barber dime! SWEEEET!!!!! Picked up another wheat a little while latter and lastly a merc dime before I was done.
Last month I had a 3 silver day, I didn't expect a 4 silver day less than a month later. The 3 in one hole were 1912S, 1914D Barber dimes, and the wheat was 1919D. Merc is 1943S, and other two wheats were 1940 and 45. Gotta love this hobby!
