A 2 Silver Day and thoughts on the new CTX 17!

Got the new 17" coil in yesterday and had a few hours to get out today. After several of the reviews I was worried about it picking up very small objects....i have to say, i think it's actually better at finding them than the stock coil!! Ended up with 3 Wheats (19, 36, 45), the pair of 1916 dimes, a couple of buttons, 3 bullets, and the back of a gold plated pocket watch that's pretty mangled up. I think the most exciting thing though is how much i love this coil! hardly any difference in swinging it... pinpointing is the same....and take a look at the second picture. I only show the dime for size reference. That little washer was at a measured 11"!! i dug several items that small at various depths. It did lose this one a time or 2 while digging, i think it got on it's edge in the bottom of the hole... but the original signal was very solid. I can't say how impressed i am with this thing!!

WOW!!! Very nice pull. :clapping:

Congrats on some very nice finds and am glad to hear you like the 17" coil so much as I plan on buying one later in the year.

Nice Barbers. The 17 inch coil makes ground coverage an easy task too.
