A $1600 Week in the Water

Bracelet is 10K 33.6 gr., "Rolex" ring is 18K, 10.8 gr. These came from a very tough hunt environment with all the sites being hunted almost daily with VLFs. What worked was to know the key activity areas and work them slowly with the pulses (DF and Aqua). I had the advantage of understanding how interference works and looking for ways to smooth out the PI thresholds in those areas. Hearing and responding to the noises that waves, hills, and grade changes produce gives you a much better chance of finding what is there. You could also say that I start from knowing where the gold is and working from there (looking for changes and trying differerent PI settings)--instead of trying to cover vast tracts of ground like the locals were doing. Total 2.55 ozs.

Very nice finds! It sounds like you've done the homework and had a solid plan of action and expedited it! Congrats to you!

Outstanding!

I love your new book! It condenses down your 30+ yrs of experience chasing gold in the water as well as the parks..So the info in it fit my hunting focus perfectly! .Definitely has put me on a pattern for this coming year!:beers:
I realized I was wasting too much time hunting non-productive zones, and not hunting the good ones to maximum effect. I have to be more judicious with the little time we have in season ...that book really helped me understand what you already know, and I'm going to apply it abundantly and often! :detecting:...Good to see your experiencing some great success from your hunting "Zen" that you also generously share with us who are trying to learn!...Very nice pile of loot there!:please: Thanks for all your help and inspiration!
