9X12 coil

It has (barely) warmed-up enough to make my driveway start percolating, so what better place to test out (finally) the 9X12 I bought over the winter. A noticable improvement in depth for sure. Looking forward to returning to hunted spots and seeing what I missed.

It's good for 2-3 inches over the stock coil on coins. Covers a lot more ground too.
The only downside is it can be a handful in busy or trashy areas due to the larger
coverage. To get the max depth out of it, I run it pretty hot. It makes a difference.
But then again, I run all my coils pretty hot.. :/ I crank em as hot as the ground I'm
over will allow, without excess chatter.

My wife had problems finding things with her Ace until we got her the 9X12 coil. I am not sure if it was pinpointing, more coverage or a combination of both but the 9 x 12 has not been off since the day she got it.
