99 tones question

Hello all
I have been using my Xterra 70 for over a year and believe that I can use it with some success now.
In that time I have I have progressed to using it in no disc. all metal, max sensitivity, 2 tones.
My question is
Will it help if I learn to use the 99 tone feature

I personally have found that combination of settings hard to beat. Plus I do not use auto track either.

Max sens really.. I guess it depends on the area / ground... in a nice clean and clear area... 21-23 is as far as I can get... mostly in the 17-19 range for me or I can digging to China for goodies that aren't there...

By max sensitivity I meant to say (max allowable sensitivity which is usually around 27, 28 where I detect.

When I say max sens I really mean as much sens as I can use in a certain area. Some hunters run the sens at half or less to start out with. I start with full sens then back it down from there to just where it runs smooth. That's what I call max sens. Now if I'm in a tot lot or sand volleyball court - yes, I run the sens way lower. Like 10 on sens. This easily gets as deep as I want to dig or scoop.

I use the 28 tone mode on occasion relic hunting just for a change. I like it, but I'm not sure if it adds anything or not. I do enjoy the sounds though.

I use all metal EVERYWHERE I hunt regardless, 2 tones, I normally dig all non ferrous tones. I do not use tracking, tried it, don't like it. I never have sensitivity under 20, normally most sites I hunt I use 22-24
