Mrs. Hawkeye and I hit a couple spots this weekend and came a little closer to our goal of (100) silvers for the year...........Saturday I dug the 1942-D Washington Quarter and Debbie captured the 1943-P War Nickel.........today Debbie scored first with the 1943 Merc and later I dug the 1912 barber.
We also dug (17) wheaties, the 1893 Indian Head Cent, the 1934-D Buff, a token from Walnut Hill, Iowa, a political pin from 1924 with the names of Robert M. La Follette and Burton K. Wheeler, and the whatzit that has three wheels that spin with designs on them.
Chilly but beautiful weekend..........would of liked to hunted longer today, but we had yardwork to get done around the house.
HH all...........Hawkeye Jim.
