My hunting partner Skip change my Excalibur 10 inch coil with 12 S Intruder. The metal detector work good only without the cover.Probable I have to put some coats epoxy.Anyway,I found today
nice 925 silver ring.My first ring for 2007.

Did you surf hunt with it any or just the lane/wetsand? Did you have to compensate any for the larger coil (Sensitivity)? Why were you not able to use the coil cover? Keep us posted on yer progress with this coil. You never know, 1 could eventually be found on a Gulf Hunter Special! Nice rang dude!

Yes I have turn down the sensitivity a little.With cover on it on the wet sand the detector get interferences.
