92 coins in one hole:crazy:

INCH

New member
Hunted next my neighbors empty lot next door from my house Saturday and Sunday . First of all I live in an area of Florida that got a direct hit from hurricane Ivan in the year 2004 and my neiborhood was destroyed Flattened and flooded. Next door where I found these coins at there used to b 9 cottages by the water, but Ivan had his way and now its all gone so I hunt this one acre lot frequent. I got a jumpy 50, 70, 75 vdi, it would lock and then loose it but the audio was my coach, so I dug down about 8 inch's and bingo I was pulling bronze colored coins and rusty coins for the next hour , it was me and the Propointer until I cleaned the hole. I have never been that excited. I thought they were old coins untill later I found nothing older than 1984 Ithink. theres coins from the UK, Russia, Jugoslavia, Hong kong, Espana, canada,Turkey, Malaysia and others. There was a deteriated plastic bag in the hole with these coins. I ask my buddy why some of the coins from Hong Kong and other places had Queen Elizabeth on one side of their coins and this is what he said to me (Ok Dummy , There used to b a saying that the sun never set on the british empire DUH) and he said a few other things that reminded me of how stupid I B about history. I been finding a little silver evert hunt so I'm happy. I know these coins were washed out of a houseand bulldozed into the ground. Sorry for the picture quality , but I patched up my ol minolta today and it still works.. Thanks for looking

I think I might get pretty excited about finding all those in one hole!!!:jump:

Well, isn't that special. Some of us had to spend four hours hacking through muddy gravel to find 65 coins, mostly stinkin' zincolns, hmmmph!!

:clapping:I would say that was an awesome day! That would be a thrill to dig that many coins in one spot. A buddy won't dig penny signals but I keep telling him he is missing good stuff like some pocket spills. Way to go with your perseverance.

That must have been exciting pulling that many coins from one hole...silver is always nice too, congrats!

Trying a few pics with my new FUJIFILM S2900 digital camera .I Hope they turn out better, tried some pics of the stuff I found with my original post. Thanks for looking.

Inch, good pics especially the warthog and pile of coins. The 1987 pence coin looks like a relic from the 17th century!

Hey Forrest, everything looked old when I unearthed these coins . My friend said that was a Warthog also. I think there is more to come from this site it's about digging jumpy VDI signals and the audio being your best source:thumbup:

Very nice finds, sure beats digging 92 holes
