918 coin total for January

Well I finally got around to counting up my total for January, I ended up 530 Lincoln, 124 nickles, 118 dimes one being a 1915 barber which is now my avatar & the oldest coin for the year, 144 quarters & 2 dollar coins. I also found 1 14k gold ring, 1 .925 silver ring, 1 black hills gold ear ring, and I lost count of the number of pull tabs. I had to go south for most of this as we are covered with snow here. Can't wait for the snow to melt so I can get out again. Good luck to all & happy hunting.

Looks like you had a heck of a good Jan. More nickels than dimes, thats interesting.

Good luck this month:thumbup:

Way to go.:clapping: I would enjoy seeing a photo of your finds. HH Dennis in Idaho

Dennis other than the 1915 dime everything else was clad. I'll attempt to get a pic together, but I don't think it will be very interesting.

I set the mxt up for nickles in hope of finding that ever elusive gold.

Bula all photos are interesting and I am sure all of us will enjoy yours. HH Dennis in Idaho

Nice photos. Sure makes for a more interesting post would'nt you agree? Thanks. HH Dennis in Idaho

That's quite impressive Bula. I love the pictures. Thanks for taking the time to post them. NICE FINDS and awesome amount for the month!!! Keep up the coin count if you can, I love it! My take for the month of January...."0". Too cold and too much snow here, but now it's melted but we're to get more Sat. night. Go figure. HH, Nancy

OK Bula gotcha now...I am new to the MXT, got a used one about a month ago and working it.
Got out today for a bit found a quarter and 7 cents and lots of pull tabs and bottle caps. Lots of solid liquid ground here still.
Nice pics.

Lizardchaser, I got my mxt used from a pawn shop a year ago & have been learning a little each time I go out. I have posted the most important things that I have learned here before & for me it was making sure that I had ground balanced the machine correctly. Then going slow.
