$900 new Excal II?

I have been seeing a certain website advertising new Excalibur II's for $900 shipped. Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone heard of "www" and whether they are what they claim?

Thanks.

Its listed at $999.00

Have they changed it since you visited there?

I'm sorry, it is $999, not $900. Even so I thought there was a floor on what dealers could sell them for, which seems to be $1198.97

There is no address available on reverse look up of the phone number and no address for the company. The area code is for the Gainsville,Fl "area" which is just north of Kellyco and Aardvark detectors (which have the same address in Winter Springs,Fl). A company that doesn't want you to know their location seems suspicious to me. I would never send money to somewhere you may never receive the product, also there is no mention of return options. Guess you could call their number and ask lots of questions. My guess they are not a Minelab authorized dealer and possibility of no warranty. Good luck on your decision.

BE CAREFUL... I was searching Craigslist tonight for an Excalibur II and noticed the same ad in various cities ... check out sounds like a possible scam or just a co-ink-eee-dink

I found it listed in Cincinnati, Miami, Orange County.. same ad, same price $999
