~90 minute hunt in the Trash Nets 3 silver~

Today I hit a park I have pulled probably 25 silver from in last 3 yrs. There is this area that is super trashy I have avoided till I was desperate for a spot to hunt...lol. There is so much can slaw and pulltabs it isn't funny. The crazy thing is, I had my pro coil on and still got all this stuff. Next time I will put on my 6x8 SEF coil and grid it hard.

All the trash in the first pic was either in the hole with coins or right beside it gaurding it from being found. I just went super duper slow and listened for any peep of a high tone, the first merc only gave me a 12-44 from one way and nulled from 3 ways..there was a small nail on top of the merc. It is the worn 1920.

The wings came in like a crappy nickel signal at 8" I opened up my quick mask and it was a 21-11 signal...I about passed it up, but decided to dig because of the depth.

All in all I am pretty happy considering I was there for only 90 minutes.

Very productive hunt.

Congrats on the silver and great short hunt! If that was with the pro coil you should get at least the same with the 6x8. Good luck next trip.

That an excellent hunt for good conditions, it's a unbelievable hunt for the conditions you were facing. You must have been crawling slow to pick em out like that. Sound like a perfect spot for your 6 x 8 and TTF.

Congratulations on some well "earned" finds Terry! Thanks for the pictures.

Awesome. I got some help setting up my E-trac today. I have a hunt tomorrow with a lot of potential. I have hunted with this guy and in this spot before without much luck. Your slow, slow, and slow influence is what I needed to hear. Thanks, for sharing.

"I just went super duper slow and listened for any peep of a high tone"

THAT IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS WITH THE ETRAC.
I'VE DONE THE SAME THING THE PAST TWO HUNTS AND FOUND SILVER EACH TIME.
HEY, MIGHT TRY AGAIN TONIGHT.

Nice finds! Was just on your webpage last night - very nice by the way - setting up your TTF mode with your settings - "make the silver scream" !!! Is that the mode you used to dig these sweeties up? ...along with a turtle swing speed, of course. Thanks for sharing...

According to what I found on the internet the "Member Sky Riders Club" badge came in several ranks: Lieutenant, Captain, & General at least. Looks like they were made in the 1930s.

Nice finds.

Nice Finds Terry, patience pays off for sure. Can't quite read the wings. What does it say?
Thanks,
Bunker
