9" LF coil

To all you fans of the 9" LF coil my question is this. Do you use your stock coil at all once you put on the LF coil?
What advantage do you have with owning both the 9" med and LF coil.

I am asking because I want the LF coil really bad but money is kinda tight so I was thinking of selling the Med freq coil to help offset the cost of the LF coil.

Thoughts, suggestions.....

no I have not used the med freq coil once I got the 3khz, selling it maybe a problem though because everyone that bought the xterra should already have one because it is the stock coil

I have never used the med. freq. coil, ever.

You must be new here as I've been bragging on the 3 kHz coil for nearly 3 years. In my opinion, and in my moderately mineralized soil, it is the deepest coil available for silver or copper coins. That is a good thing. But even better, while hunting in the all metal mode with multiple tones, the 3 khz concentric coil provides a distinct audio response on deeply buried iron. (and other ""trash" items). Makes "hunting by ear" a breeze. Truly an excellent coil for coinshooting in wide open spaces. HH Randy
