no matter what machine you use you got to admit this pretty impressive.

There is no way I can argue with you. You got that machine runnin' hot! You have great selling abilities too as you have me sold on the Deus

p.s. thanks for all the great videos you post. - Jim

If your gonna buy one you have to call to get the best deal ,I know a few who will cut a deal. It really is a great machine 2 pounds and you can make it fast as lighting, the deep program I run is very fast the trash program is really fast. I know everyone has there take on a certain brand but I have not seen any detector that will keep up with it to do what I do and thats relic hunting. Ive been around ctx,t2 ,at pro and none of those detectors could hang relic hunting and they are some top notch detectors, the deus is just a bad piece of equipment.

I watch these videos of folks digging holes and burying stuff and then detecting it again with amazement. Absolute amazement. I have no idea what detecting in that kind of soil would be like. I can only imagine that it must be like hunting in deep woodchips or something.

In some places its like digging on the beach. I feel for you guys who have that type of soil you can hit with a pick and it bounces off of it. Ive dug in soil like that when I was a kid down in ga.

yeah.....those of us that live in areas with mineralized ground tend not to look at the detectors in these type of videos as much as we drool over the ground conditions that would let a person detect a freshly buried target at any depth. So those of you who live in place where you can detect freshly buried items, enjoy it, as many of us live in places where you can't.

In south Florida dirt which basically is neutral, the Garrett Gold Hunted, groundhog type control box, has no problem hitting a quarter at 15 inches, set on nail reject and sensitivity set 3/4. I have no idea how it would perform in other soil conditions. Everything from surface to 15 inches will be dug...

Impressed as some may be, I find the video quite disturbing. Digging habits like yours has cost many of us the privilege to hunt public property. You are obviously on public property digging with a garden shovel, not knowing how to use a ground cloth to put your dirt on and when refilling the hole, the grass side of the plug goes UP.

Sad, so very sad that you represent our hobby and it's image to the general public.

Larry, could it be that the house just a few yards behind him is his house and maybe he is on his property? He's been using the same painted test garden for a couple of months.

Could be, but I didn't see a house, it sure looks like a municipal swimming pool just yards from where he is digging, may be his own pool. Even if he is on his own property, his video gives newbies the wrong message of how to dig a target IMHO. I hope that is not the way he recovers targets on public OR private property.

Its my yard ,I have many private properties to hunt on and 99% are corn fields and woods or overgrown yards that dont matter ,I always cover my holes even in corn fields and woods. Im not the guy you want to watch if your worried about proper digging techniques for a park or manicured lawn as I dont hunt those and im sure not gonna pretend like a corn field, woods ,or a overgrown yard is a public park. Im not using a digging cloth in my on yard or a cornfield. BTW I have hunted places that matter and I do act proper in those areas.

Did you send that button to be straighten out yet?????????????----------------------------after1-----------------------

Ive messed around and havent planned on it and got side tracked.
