9-25-09 hunt

Well went on a short hunt today at a newer socker field and some area's in the park . Didn't expect much old as this is a fairly new park with mostly kids ball games and such in it . Found 48 cents in change none old and then when I got by a out of the way shelter house this popped up , a wedding ring I believe is silver going to get it checked to make sure . The ring has no markings inside of the band , but won't stick to a magnet ether. It does ring up around 76 on my MXT and a dime on my Ace 250. Had alot of trash which I left in the trash bin on the way out of the park .

I found a very large (11 grams) mens ring last week that came in at 95 VDI but it says STER inside (.925 silver). A size 6 STER silver women's ring came in at 75 VDI that I found the week before. It was very tiny with an emerald on it. Hope that helps..
 
Well took the ring to jewelry shop today and it turned out to be a plated ring not a silver or white gold ring so close but no cigar this time .

Hey, at least you tried and had fun doing it. It's the first of many rings to come. Even though it wasn't a silver or gold, I bet your heart went pitter-patter when you found it. I wish you more luck and happiness with your detecting! HH to all, Nancy
 
Yes Nancy was glad to find it anyway a ring is a ring . I made up for it today and dug this religious metal in a baseball park me and a friend was hunting in today .
