9-22-07 2nd hunt

Went to another spot along a stream with dwelling remains.
My son took the Cortes from me so this time I used the Cibola. We both used 5.75 coils.
Besides junk, he found a hand full of clad I did about the same except I got 3 rings. I have found up to 2 rings before so this 3 ringer hunt is a new record for me. The stream looks like it had an area used for a swimming hole and that's the area we hit this hunt. We hit a fairly small area so we will be going back after more rain makes the soil condition better. Looks like several old oak trees and a few old trails need to be worked also.
This one is soft enough I can actually squeeze it out of shape.

Small silver color junk ring - don't know if this a kids, pinkie, or toe ring.

If the gold ring is soft enough to squish with your fingers then it's likely 24k.

The "Small silver color junk ring" is an actual silver ring. It doesn't look like junk. A lot of small, silver jewelry isn't marked. I've seen a lot of silver jewelry and a lot of "silver colored" junk jewelry and that one looks to be real silver.
