8x6 SEF

After a bit of a wait, I just received a confirmation that my new 8x6 SEF is now on its way! After everything I have heard and read I am looking forward to giving it a try.

Alot of people use this smaller coil including myself and love it. It is really good when running two tone ferrous in trashy coonditions.

Why the wait on te 8x6? Are they back on back order? I was going to order one today after running TTF with stock coil for 3 hrs this morning.

Yes , backordered , I ordered about three weeks ago, and they just now confirmed my shipment. They may have them in stock now.

I have been using the 8x6 SEF for a couple days and all I can say is that it is an awesome coil. The coil on trashy sites with TTF should be illegal!!!

I love this Coil! I have had it for about 6 months now, it gets in the trash better than the Pro Coil and can cover more ground than a 5 or 6 in Round Coil. it has proved it's worth and I'm very impressed with the depth of the 6x8 as well........ you will like it

Mine is also on the way, should arrive Monday or Tuesday this week, My E-Trac Arrived Friday. Will be uploading some Great Beach Finds from May 14 and 15 ,2013 found with my Excaliber,A lot of Greenies, flat Buttons and some Great coins just laying on the Beach

Well I now have my coil, got out to a pretty trashy park, was able to get 3 wheaties, a 1944 Merc, and $2.27 in clad. I am a believer, it is a nice coil to swing and seems to do very well in the depth dept. I will report more as I get a little more time in with it. So far so good!:clapping:

It is the perfect balance between depth and separation. It pinpoints better than the pro-coil. (comparing wiggle method on both coils) Everytime I go with the pro-coil I regret it. Now if you are detecting large fields where the targets are deep and few and sparse the pro-coil will be better, but I still miss the easier pinpointing.

I just tried to order one from Kellyco. But they were out of stock. Told me to check back Monday. You all know where I might find one?

I think you just need to order it and wait for it to come in, took me about three weeks to get mine.
