8X6 sef coil for T2

Hello Guys,
I know that we cant get the 8x6 sef coil for the T2 here in the USA. Kellyco does sell the 10x12 and its a great coil but an 8x6 would be awesome. Just curious if in the future these 8x6 coils become available how many of you would buy one? I had an 8x6 for the Explorer I had and it was a really superb coil with great depth and awesome target separation. Still wonder why these arent sold here. Thank for your input and keep on diggin:)

They are available in the UK so not sure why not in the US,i dont use one on my T2 but i do use one on the DFX,it certainly is a quality coil as most of the SEF range are, also use the 12x10 and 15x12 SEF,but my favourite everyday use coil is the NEL Sharpshooter that is my everyday use coil and in my opinion far superior than the T2 original stock coil and very rarely comes off the machine.

If i am honest after using the NEL coil i doubt that i would,as much as i like the SEF8x6 coil on my DFX i feel that i it would be duplicating the same size coil, yes i am aware the NEL is slightly larger but not by much so why pay for another coil of similar performance,if i had not bought the NEL 1st i would certainly have gone for the 8x6 coil.

Any reason why you cannot get these size SEF coil in the US ???

Mega,
I really dont know why we cant get them here. I had read on an older post on the Findmall that someone said that Kellyco detectors, who is a Detech dealer, would have to buy at least 25 of the 8x6 coils at a time. I dont know if this is true or not but it seems that 25 coils for the size company Kellyco is would not be a problem. I may try to contact Detech directly and see if I can purchase one through them. They are in Bulgaria. Keep on diggin.

I contacted Kellyco last year about them they said pretty much the same thing, not enough people were interested to place an order.

GO for the NEL Sharpshooter coil brilliant at depth and target separation. I can place a 20mm Roman coin in between two Roman naila set 2 " each side of the coil and the coin gives a good dig me signal. PLUS using the big Roman Sestertius I placed on UNDER the nail still found with a strong signal.

Brian,i have come to the exact same conclusion as yourself, its just a superb all round coil, depth in my opinion is touching the same as the stock coil but lighter, albeit just a small amount less ground coverage but i feel it makes up for it by being more sensitive to smaller targets.

Best coil i have ever bought and owned is the Sharpshooter.
